Concept
“Merienda entre amigos” (Spanish for tea-time with friends) During the last years we have met many professionals that eventually have become our friends - this was the starting point of the project. “Merienda entre amigos” is a joint exhibition combining a broad range of design disciplines including product design, furniture and lighting as well as graphic and illustration among others. We love their work and to share experiences with them, that is why we owe them a “cupatea”.

Something as essential, simple and friendly as “merienda” can not be missing in any household. Founded in 2008 we are a Valencia based studio, whose aim is to enjoy work and be creative. Our main focus is set on product-design alongside graphic design, but we are also into other disciplines like video or animation.
Location (this was the location for the exhibition)
We are set in the heart of Ruzafa in a location called I LOFT VLC. It happens to be a former bakery shop. The place is very inspiring, with a beautiful courtyard, which is actually known as “La Boulangerie”. There is still some old machinery left, dating from the time, when the place was still a lively bakery.
Isn ́t this the perfect place for “tea-time with friends”.

VDM-Valencia Disseny Week The “Valencia Disseny Week”, a vibrant exhibition platform, is part of the core event “Feria Habitat Valencia”. The event represents a great opportunity to check out the latest offerings fromValencia based designers. The reputation of the event is growing rapidly due to the strong social and cultural interest (promoted by the ADCV, Valencia ́s designers association)
20 - 24 September.
